Sanitize surfaces without harmful chemicals. The Feit UV Protect Sanitizing Wand uses powerful UVC light to disinfect surfaces in seconds. The sanitizing wand emits UVC germicidal ultraviolet light in the 270-280 nm range. It delivers up to 99.9% effectiveness at inactivating harmful bacteria like Staphylococcus and E. coli. Use on bedding, upholstery, counters, keyboards, telephones, doorknobs, faucets and any surface where pathogens might lurk. Note: UVC light is not recommended for use on skin, pets, or plants. The wand is easy to use. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds and you're ready to sanitize. To disinfect the surface, position the wand 1-2 in. from the surface you wish to disinfect and point the light. For best results, wave the wand slowly over a 1 in. x 8.5 in. area for 30 seconds. As a safety precaution, the wand automatically turns off after 5 minutes of continuous use. If additional use is required, restart it for up to 20 minutes of use with a full charge. It also features a safety setting that automatically turns the light off if turned upward toward the eyes. Lightweight and portable, it includes a built-in rechargeable battery.
